After years of unforgettable international travel to places like Italy, Costa Rica, China, Spain, and Panama, we are revisiting our amazing experience in the Galápagos in 2024 with additional changes made to incorporate the beauty and importance of the Amazon Rainforest. From March 16–27, 2026, rising juniors and seniors will explore Ecuador’s Amazon Rainforest, the historic capital of Quito, and the iconic Galápagos Islands. This 12-day adventure combines outdoor exploration, Spanish language exposure, and deep cultural learning. In the Amazon, students will zipline, white water raft, soak in hot springs, and visit an animal sanctuary focused on conservation. In Quito, they’ll explore colonial churches, museums, and marketplaces while engaging with Ecuador’s language, customs, and Indigenous heritage. The journey ends in the Galápagos with multi-island snorkeling and close encounters with rare wildlife—bringing science, ecology, and global stewardship to life. Comprehensive academic and social preparation will take place both prior to and during the trip. Students will engage in lessons connected to environmentalism, evolution, sustainability, and Indigenous studies, designed to align with the 11th grade theme of passion and the 12th grade theme of change. Language support, cultural context, and community-building activities will also ensure students are prepared to engage meaningfully and grow personally and intellectually. The all-inclusive cost is $4,400. Payment plans start with a $500 deposit, followed by $390/month over 12 months. This is more than just a trip—it’s a transformative rite of passage that builds independence, cultural awareness, and lasting global connections.
