Dear Families,
We are excited to announce that our 11th and 12th grade students will be going on the San Diego & SoCal College Trip this fall, taking place from Monday, September 29 through Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
We made this adjustment to ensure that our seniors get the opportunity to visit colleges they haven’t explored yet. Most of these students already went to San Francisco last year, so this trip focuses on Southern California universities, including UC Riverside, UC Irvine, and UC San Diego. Visiting these schools now is especially important as applications are coming up, giving students the chance to gather valuable information and connect with many Aveson alumni currently attending these campuses.
In addition to college visits, students will:
- Take a guided tour of the San Diego Safari Park
- Participate in leadership and community-building activities
- Stay two nights in San Diego hotels with breakfast included
- Enjoy dinners provided each night
💵 Cost: $375 per student
This includes transportation, hotel accommodations, Safari Park admission, and dinners.

We believe this trip ensures that our 11th and 12th graders receive the college exposure they need before applications are due, while the 10th and 11th graders will still have the opportunity to visit Northern California schools later in the year, either in January or May.
